UPDATE AS OF September 9, 2026

The Distribution Hearing was held on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

Our apologies that Webex login credentials were not provided prior to the Hearing. The login details were not provided until after the start of the Hearing.

The Court is considering a distribution end date of November 6, 2026, subject to further submission by Class Counsel, the Defendant, or other Legal Representatives. A draft Order is currently being prepared by Class Counsel and will be reviewed by Justice Ashcroft after September 15, 2026, with a view to grant consent to proceed with Distributions given the consent of all parties and the advice of the Claims Administrator.

The Court intends to issue an Order that Eligible Claimants sign an affidavit that they did not receive compensation from the BC Settlement or any other class action proceedings and return the affidavit to the Claims Administrator no later than September 29, 2026.

We will update this website once the Distribution details are confirmed by the Court after September 15, 2026.

Class Counsel is currently preparing Motions to be submitted to the Court seeking authorization to make Distributions to Eligible Claimants, Provincial Health Insurers, and all other related parties.
